Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 was an American Actress. After her first film Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack part of WarGames '83 as well as The Breakfast Club '85 she was well-known as a part of this group. Sheedy earned an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American author and actress for more than twenty years. She began her film career through the crime film Bad Boys in the early 1980s, for which she was quite appreciated. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie, which also featured famous actor Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In the wake of her success with her debut film, she was later seen in the comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film is thought to be among the greatest high school films of all-time. The film cost only $1,000,000 but it grossed more than 50 million dollars. Also, she began to appear on a number of television shows like CBS Schoolbreak. This was her TV debut. It was a program designed for teens and aired in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are some of the other shows on which she has appeared. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film about a super hero in which Sheedy plays the role of a tiny cameo. Sheedy received numerous prizes in 2005 for her work. She was also awarded with the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
