Felicity Jones is a British actress best known in the role of Jane Hawking in the critically well-reviewed movie The Theory of Everything. Jones began her acting career at age of 12 and was a part of many plays, TV shows, and films. Her first role was in the TV film The Treasure Seekers. In the following year she was in The Worst Witch as Ethel Hallow and in Weirdsisters College. The character she played was Young Ruth as her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool. In the following years, she was in several films. Her acting career gained her fame through films like The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. It was, however, her performance on The Theory of Everything that brought her an Oscar for the very first time. Jones was highly praised by viewers and critics alike as she played Hawking's ex-wife, in this Stephen Hawking biopic. She was then seen in Inferno an action film starring Tom Hanks. Jones received an award called the British Artist of 2016 award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles, for her exceptional talents and contributions.
