Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14th, 1964. The birth took place in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. Suzy Kolber is now 58. The name of her mother is Sandra Kolber and her father is Gene Kolber. Her school was Sandy Run Middle School, Dresher Pennsylvania. In 1982 she completed her studies at Upper Dublin High School. In 1986, she earned the degree of Bachelor of Arts with a telecommunications concentration at the University of Miami. As a student at the undergraduate level, she landed a position as the sports director for Dynamic Cable Coral Gables Florida. Moreover she was employed there for two years starting in 1984 until 1986. Also, she was part of the University of Miami water skiing team from 1984 to 1986. In her youth Plaza was a part of community theatre in her native Wilmington acting, performing improv and directing one-act shows. While in New York City, Plaza studied at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and attended classes in improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. In 2006, she graduated with an education in TV and film production. The condition she was diagnosed with was aphasia. the age of 20, a condition that hinders her ability to communicate and comprehend language.
