Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9, 1976 from Beaumont Puy of Domme. The parents of Audrey Tautou, both dentists, and a school teacher, were supportive and encouraged in her early interest in theatre and drama. The initial goal of her of becoming a specialist in monkeys was surpassed by her desire to study theater and drama. Success in the beginning and an immediate rise in fame led her to become a young actor. After completing her masters degree, she was asked to participate in Jeunes Premiers which is which is a French television talent-scouting program that was sponsored by Canal+. She also received the award for Best Young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. The experience led her to pursue a career in acting professionally. Tautou was educated at The Institut Catholique de Paris, in addition to attending church as she was a child. She has since left the church. She claims that she's not legally Catholic. Along with her acting career she tried her hand at modeling. Also, she is the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. Photography is also her passion and she recently exhibited her work at the Arles festival, under the title Superficial. She focuses her photography on famous people, the media and media who scrutinized her following her meteoric rise in fame thanks to Amelie. Additionally, there are some photographs of her self. Audrey Tautou became a star and became famous internationally with her role debut as Amelie Poulain from Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie. Amelie earned international acclai offices and was well-received in awards shows across the globe. Amelie has been the most successful movie in French language productions in the US. Following this success Tautou starred in many films ranging from British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de fiancailles before moving to Hollywood under the direction of Ron Howard of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code along with Tom Hanks.
